The Stone armchair by Fabrice Berrux for Bonaldo in Italy is a classic, comfortable, and versatile chair that has some stunning leg options.
The influence of nature is evident in Stone’s lines: a single body that forms the backrest, seat and armrests and is as solid and welcoming as only the elements of nature can be. “I have always been inspired by the impromptu seats in nature that I discovered during my long walks,” says Fabrice. “Sometimes it’s a tree trunk, others simply a smooth rock. This is exactly the spirit I embraced when I came up with the design of the Stone chair.”
There are lots of different choices for the chair covers, Bonaldo offer a huge range of fabrics and leathers with several categories of each and in a fantastic selection of colours. Samples are available to view in our showroom and some fabric samples can be posted to you.
There are three different styles of leg to choose from. The legs shown in the main image are solid wood with a useful swivel base with metal pins which can be selected in several finishes. In the detailed images you can see the metal spider legs and the solid wood legs, all are available with a selection of finish options.
