Extreme elegance and modernity, sobriety and rigor, this is the Quint’Essènza – an open base sofa that rests on slender, shaped feet in polished metal. One of its main features is the thin side upholstered in regenerated leather, which enhances the design of the model and gives it an austere look. Quint’Essènza is designed for comfort experiences alone or in company and it even has a special mechanism that allows the back cushion to be raised to increase the height and depth of the seat. In the motion version the seats slide electrically via a touch control and can increase to a depth of 18 cm. By activating the two backrest and sliding seat mechanisms together, Quint’Essènza can increase its depth by 38 centimetres, transforming it into a real day bed.
