The Bonaldo Geometric Dining Table, designed by the world famous creative Alain Gilles, is part of the collection from Italian brand Bonaldo, and comes in several versions, this product, a round table, a Clay table, a 4m table, a solid marble table and a table in Ebony.
We are thrilled to announce that the Geometric Dining Table was a winner of the Chicago Athenaeum Museum’s GOOD DESIGN AWARD for 2020. This award is the oldest design award in the world, entering its 73rd year this year and one of the most prestigious. We are delighted for Alain and the team at Bonaldo that their hard work has been recognised in this way.
Geometric is a table that changes shape depending on the observer’s perspective. The concept is based on chameleon-like silhouettes, starting with the base: it’s four legs with drop-shaped feet appear either thick, or sharp and thin, offering a different perception of their visual weight as you walk around the table. The rounded ends of this rectangular table add a further graceful feel.
