The Eddy Up armchair by Alain Gilles for Bonaldo in Italy is dedicated to fellow countryman and cycling legend, Eddy Merckx.
The shape of the Eddy Up chair is based around the logic and styling of the fixie bike (one gear/fixed wheel), with a tubular metal frame and comfortable, ergonomic seat. The tall headrest adds extra support.

Strong metal legs can be matt painted in a variety of colours or two metal finishes. Another version of the Eddy chair is also available without the headrest.
