The Wai tall chest of drawers by Mario Mazzer for Bonaldo has five drawers and is made from canaletto walnut with recessed handles in anthracite grey.
The shape of Wai’s base recalls joined hands, a gesture used in Thailand and generally all over the East as a sign of welcome and to show respect; indeed, this gesture is called “wai”. For the base choose either matt painted anthracite grey or several metal finishes.
