‘Gerrit’ is a modern interpretation of the classic reading armchair, which is both new and familiar at the same time. The inner part of the armchair is decorated with workmanship reminiscent of quilting, which is also continued on the footstool in continuity with the seat. This footstool, with its trapezoidal shape, integrates perfectly with the geometry of the armchair. This armchair and footstool is available in the fixed version with metal feet or in a swivel version that rests on a spoked base – perfect for business/office use. In both versions, fixed or swivel, the ‘Gerrit’ can be fitted with regenerated leather armrests. All components (feet, spoked base and armrests) are available in different finishes and/or colours and when combined with the chosen upholstery, numerous customised combinations can be created.
